A day and a half later owen and i became the proud new owners of the 2008 tacoma you see above. Of course some of those fishing trips. Low and behold this lil taco was for sale an hour and a half south on the border of georgia and north carolina. I will be doing some overlanding trips this summer and its much easier to just set up the camp cot and sleep in the bed with the tailgate down but no roof.

Im 5 9 and hoping i can sleep diagonally across the bed on a platform built above the wheel wells. I use the notches in the bed to basically keep the platform in and from moving. I made some tweaks to my p. I used 3 4 inch plywood to build the whole platform in my bed of the truck on top of the wheel well.
